Resources are one of six card types in the MLP CCG. Resources are cards that provide either a continuous effect or one that the player can choose when to use.
In order to play a Resource, a player needs to pay its cost in action tokens (located on the left side). If the Resource has a play requirement (located underneath the cost), the player also needs to have at least that much power of the required color in play in order to play the card.
A Resource’s game text specifies where a Resource needs to be attached to when played, such as to a player’s home, at a Problem, or to a Friend/character. Resources attached to a Problem are dismissed when that Problem is solved; Resources attached to characters are dismissed if that character is frightened or removed from play. You can attach as many resources to a Friend/character or to your home as you like; there is no limit.
A player may have up to three copies of a Resource with the same name in his Draw Deck.
